Morphics®

Phonics is a method of teaching pronunciation and spelling based upon the phonetic interpretation of ordinary spelling. In short, phonics teaches students to pronounce, or “sound out”, words they see in their reading.

Morphics is a method of teaching vocabulary, spelling and grammar based upon the morphemic interpretation of academic English. Morphics teaches students to grasp the meanings, or “mean out”, words they see in their reading.
